Description
Description
The Elan Ripstick 84 ski meets the demands of advanced skiers facing a variety of conditions, from morning groomed runs to degraded snow at the end of the day. With an 84 mm waist width, this model corresponds to the narrowest platform in the Ripstick range. Its compact configuration promotes increased precision on-piste while retaining the flexibility needed to explore off-piste.
The construction combines a dual wood core with carbon rods. The core provides controlled rebound and a fluid rhythm during turn transitions, while the carbon fibers absorb shocks and limit vibrations for a stable ride. Despite these technical reinforcements, the assembly maintains a low weight underfoot, facilitating repeated movements over significant elevation changes.
- Waist width: 84 mm for optimized pivoting radius and quick maneuverability
- Materials: dual wood structure and composite carbon rod reinforcement
- Technical profile required: advanced skier proficient in turns and edge changes
- Strengths: reliable edge hold, impact absorption, and operational lightness
The Flats finish offers a smooth graphic surface that preserves the base and simplifies routine maintenance. This equipment meets alpine standards for a direct and secure connection with traditional bindings and boots.
